Meet Isabella!

image1Meet Isabella. This young lady was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She is unable to walk. Her primary way of independent movement is with a power chair. Her limitations, however, provide a unique opportunity to be resolute and ambitious.

Isabella loves sports and she actively competes in athletic games for disabled people. She is a member of the Special Olympics Team and participates in golf, basketball and swimming. Her goal is also to join the cycling team for track and field. Every time Isabella crosses a finish-line she is saying to her disability, “I win!”

Wheelchairs 4 Kids is helping Isabella to receive a Freedom Concepts bicycle. She was able to try one out, recently and loved it! The adaptive bike will enable her to exercise and compete in cycling events for the Special Olympics.
