July 2014-Chip is biking his way back to health!  Wheelchairs 4 Kids provided Chip with a recumbent trike to help strengthen his legs and help him to be able to walk again!  Chip is an amazing 17-year-old teenage boy who was diagnosed with an Anaplastic Metastatic Medulloblastoma at the age of 13. The brain tumor and brain surgeries resulted in losses of many of his abilities including walking, some of his eyesight, and swallowing. Chip is a determined young man who is working hard to relearn how to use his muscles.

Chip used to play baseball but now can only hear the games. His favorite teams are the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. Chip loves outdoor activities, too.  Hunting and fishing are his absolute favorites!  He also enjoys watching any show that features hunting or fishing and he is a fan of country music. Chip has lost and endured much, but he has gained the valor to continue with a smile.

Chip needed an adaptive recumbent tricycle to help to recuperate the strength in his muscles and provide exercise for his legs. With the help of Wheelchairs 4 Kids, Silver Comet Cycles and Catrike he will be able to regain his mobility and independence once again.
